Latin American BBQ Experience
Our Latin American BBQ Experience is a culinary journey through the Caribbean, Central America, South America and Mexico and teaches about the healthy ingredients, spices and marinades, cooking techniques, traditional recipes, wines, flowers, music and customs for entertaining.
Every summer my birthday provides a welcome and appropriate occasion for me to get together with my Latin American friends and enjoy the big-flavor foods and traditions of their homelands. Drawing on the spices, authentic recipes, and grilling techniques learned from my friends, I designed this experience to share with you their secrets of authentic grill-based Latin American cuisines.
We begin the meal with the colorful and flavorful sweet combinations of Peruvian-Style Shrimp Ceviche with Black Beans, Jicama Mango. Then we enjoy grilled chicken wings smoldered in marinade of Jamaican Jerk spices. For the main entrée we enjoy Cuban-Style Flank Steak and Grilled Onions with Lime, Garlic and Oregano Mojo. We also grill Asparagus and serve it with Queso Fresco. To end the meal we enjoy refreshing Grilled Pineapple with Toasted Coconut and Dulce de Leche Ice Cream.
